A pupil once presented me with a plaque that read:
“To teach is to touch a life forever”
My lineage in dance training instilled in me the need to conduct disciplined lessons but I believe in an understanding caring approach as opposed to the often intimidating regime associated with Ballet.
My priorities lie with the health, happiness and welfare of the pupils entrusted to my care, developing a relationship of mutual respect
and fondness
Safety is paramount and I strive for technical excellence in pupils observing carefully for safe execution of exercises, providing a suitable environment for practice and caring for their physical and psychological well-being. Offering in abundance help, encouragement & support along the way.
I strive to nurture and enhance creativity, enthusiasm and a genuine love for dance in a diverse section of society, embracing individuality and cultural differences in an effort to equip all with a level of confidence and self-esteem beneficiary for any life choice.
By continuing to increase professional knowledge and staying abreast of ever changing times I hope to develop a unique “brand “ of dance training in my area, whilst following ethical practices and industry codes.
